The U of L Tai Chi Club is part of the University of Louisville Intramural and Recreational Sports Department and consists of University of Louisville students, staff, faculty and members of the community. The traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Hand and Weapon Forms as well as Push Hands are taught.

Tai Chi Qigong
China's 3000 year old system of self-healing, Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures (whether moving or stationary), breathing techniques and focused intention.
This class is a four week session that will introduce a series of these exercises meant to improve the natural energy of the body, regulate your breath that with practice can lead to an improvement in overall health and vitality.

49 Posture hand Form.
This is an ongoing class teaching and practicing the 49 Posture Hand Form. The form was created for competition and demonstration purposes and is also an excellent short form that includes all the elements of traditional Yang family Tai Chi Chuan.
This is a free class with registration to the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association.

16 Posture hand Form. This is an ongoing class teaching and practicing the 16 Posture Hand Form. The form was created to fit into University course work and introduces the student to basic postures and the fundamentals of traditional Yang family Tai Chi Chuan.

This is an ongoing class for any person that has restricted movement. Participants are encouraged to maintain health through upper body motion based on Tai Chi Postures and Qigong exercises.
