Kentucky Tai Chi Chuan Center
Established as a Yang Chengfu Tai Chi Chuan Center in April, 2002 by the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association, the Kentucky Center offers the full curriculum of Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan in accordance with the principles set forth by the International Association under the direct Yang Family lineage holders,
In addition, the Kentucky Center sponsors seminars with world renown Masters, provides high quality training through classes and specialized workshops, and conducts ranking and teacher certification programs. The Kentucky Tai Chi Chuan Center offers the highest level of instruction for enthusiasts throughout Kentucky and surrounding areas.
The mission and goals of the Kentucky Center are:
- To promote the principles and practice of Tai Chi in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- To encourage self-healing and self-development through daily Tai Chi practice.
- To create a forum and network for Tai Chi teachers, players, students and investigators to share knowledge, ideas and experiences.
- To promote Tai Chi into the education and health care communities.
- To provide high quality Tai Chi training and information for students, practitioners and the public.
- To support the development of new Tai Chi Chuan Centers through teacher training and certification.
